Moderating communities on Telegram requires constant attention and takes a lot of time. However, this task can be delegated to a bot that can monitor the behavior of participants around the clock and quickly respond to violations.
The bot can check whether conditions are met and delete messages from participants who have not met them, for example, who have not registered. We created such a bot for the HR community. Before joining the group, participants must answer questions about their professional interests. If this condition is not met, the bot restricts such members from sending messages to the group.
Difficulty level: medium-difficult – you need to connect and configure the bot on Telegram and understand the tables.
Setup time: 2-4 hours
Versatility: suitable for monitoring the fulfillment of various conditions: checking messages for compliance with rules using keywords; restricting access of specific users to group content; restriction of activity of participants who have not fulfilled the payment conditions, etc.
How does it work?
You create the bot and add it to your Telegram community.
If you need to collect information about participants before they join the group, you can use the bot that interactively conducts a survey and save the results. To do this, you need to create a script in the constructor and send participants a link to the questionnaire. If a user completes the survey, the bot sends a link to the group on Telegram.
When a candidate joins the group, the bot recognizes him and introduces him to other community members using the responses received.
If a user joins a community without first registering and tries to send a message to the group, the bot deletes his messages and offer to register until the participant answers all the questions in the questionnaire. He can follow the link and register in the bot.
