Wishing colleagues a happy birthday is important, but it’s easy to forget a date or miss the occasion entirely. This bot takes care of it for you — reminding the team and sparking a wave of warm wishes in Slack.

What the bot does:
1. Collects birthdays from each teammate or pulls data from your database.
2. Checks daily for upcoming birthdays.
3. Automatically sends a greeting to your Slack channel.

How it works
First, create your birthday database: upload a spreadsheet, add dates manually, or let the bot collect them directly from your teammates.
In our example, employees complete a quick registration, answer a few questions, and share their birthday.
The bot stores this information in the table and checks daily for birthdays. When it finds a match, it posts a greeting in the group from a pre-made list, and colleagues join the wave of wishes by sending their own messages.
Each time, the bot sends a new greeting. If there are multiple birthdays on the same day, the bot will congratulate everyone in a single message.
How to set up this bot
